Prayer is IMPORTANT to me!

Hi again! :)

Mmmmm....

Just asked friend for a movie tonight, but rejected because she is not interested in other movies besides Fast 5. Well, I pray in my heart that I won't get too disappointed just because of her. I can't control myself. I know I hate being alone.. but I trust God will train me up to become stronger in this point! No more dependence on other people except for my family :)

Tomorrow, I'm going meet a non-Christian friend, who will be getting married in June. I'm not able to attend her reception but decided to give her something memorable. I pray that this friend of mine  as well as the partner will get to know God soon.

Honestly speaking, from time to time, I will pray for my non-Christian friends. I really want them to get to know this loving relationship with God. The problem is with me, I don't have the boldness to share with them. I'm afraid but I know if I fully depend and trust in God, things will work out. I should learn not to think what other ppl think of me. I'm not perfect tho, I pray one day, they can join me in eternal life.

My colleague is leaving soon. He already sent official resignation letter to my boss. Everyone is leaving.. I didn't expect that we all will leave before July. I will be working alone in food service. I hate working alone, when the reality is that I know God is with me. But how? I need to depend on Him more often. Means? More prayer and connection with Him.

I know my weaknesses. Most of the time I'm easily tempted, I found out that I need strict guidance from the Holy Spirit, I need to PRAY more often! Ah.. discipline is the word....

Thank God for the Servanthood and Leadership Conference by Dr. Tan Siang-Yang. He is the Senior Pastor of First Evangelical Church, Glendale, California, USA and Professor of Psychology at Fuller Theological Seminary, had spoken in PJ under the "Joining Hands Conference." He also serves on the Board and Ministry Team of RENOVARE, a spiritual renewal ministry founded by Richard Foster.

I have a clear picture of the differences in Servanthood and Servant Leadership. I understand better, will grow more intimate with God, he told us that WWJD should stand for Walking With Jesus Daily instead of What would Jesus Do.... :)

Oh, recently, I have just finished a book called "Drops from a Leaking Tap" by George Verwer. Highly recommended book for those who wants to read about Missionary! Trust me, it's a great book!

Thank God for so many humble and loving men and women who dedicated their lives to GOD, just for GOD'S GLORY ONLY!

Praise HIM!

An yong,
Serena~
