Good Morning Friend,
Blessed New Year!
I believe this year 2014 is a new start for me. As I look at today's scripture:
Isaiah 43:19 (ESV)
Behold, I am doing a new thing;
now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?
I will make a way in the wilderness
and rivers in the desert.
There are so many things to be thankful in 2013. Below is a list of achievements which I am truly grateful and thankful to God.
1. Drove all the way to Genting Highland by myself, and shared Christ with 1stKL GB Juniors, invited them to renew their faith in Jesus. I saw many stand up. A shy girl grew to be leader for drill competition.
2. Passed two subjects in AOIC (A grades). Never in my life achieved that high marks, glory to God! Experiencing student life again! Attended 4 subjects. Rushing assignments :) I am still doing another assignment - 4 assignments coming up due on 7th Jan.
3. Went to Korea, experienced winter season there! Met Korean friends.
4. Went to Kota Kinabalu with my mom, Aunty Grace and Candice for holiday!
5. Met good Christian brothers and sisters in AOIC, I can look up to them and ask for guidance once in a while.
6. Went for 4-days silent retreat where I found Christ in my life.
7. Attended a World Pentecostal Conference.
8. Cooked 5 dishes and made one lemonade drink for thanksgiving, spent the whole day cooking and cleaning! First time recipes. Appreciate my colleagues. So tiring, slept at 2am and tomorrow need to work.
9. Made a confession to someone and had emotional breakthrough as a single. Constant reminder to myself to focus on God not on man. I know it is hard, but I need to depend on my Holy Spirit.
10. Learn to be independent even family is not around. Although sometime I feel lonely.
11. Climbed Bukit Tabur with officers and friends. One time success and the other time didn't manage to finish it.
12. Attended Elijah House early this year.
Well, I think I will go on and on.. anyway, these are the highlights in my life....The next post is about my resolution for this year! :)
Blessings,
Serena
