Training in Singapore

It has been a while I didn't update my blog....Well, let me share with you my training trip to Sg!
I found that this trip is truly a blessing from God, although it is kinda like crash courses but we managed to pull it through for about two weeks.

I would say the training trip to Singapore was wonderful, great, fun, bla bla blah.....all I can say is 'Enjoyable'! I can clique with my new colleague because we were born in the same year! Nah, prob is our characteristics..Woot! I can't believe it.. I thought she is younger than me from the profile pic in her Facebook. Definitely I can't judge by the outlook appearance..

Me and my new colleague (SY) met nice trainers aka colleagues over there. They are willing to teach us unlike the other Sg people who are stingy.. or should I say 'Kiasu and Kiasi'? Wait, wait...guess I shouldn't judge every Singaporean is like that. I guess I'm bless to meet so many nice and friendly Singaporeans.

They taught and shared with us the product knowledge and personal experiences. They are my gurus!! Haha, grateful and won't forget my learning experience from them...Not only that, our bosses (which I heard of alot of positive comments/compliments from the senior staffs working in GTK) are very kind and understanding. On the first day, my lady Director drove over and picked us up from Novena Square and dropped us at the hotel. She even went up to the room with us and checked the security and cleanliness of the hotel. She told us she is more concern about the security.. Wow, my heart melts when I heard that sentence!

The hotel? Is called 'Value Hotel' situated in Balestier road opposite of Quality hotel. Nice, clean and looks new but the service is just 'oklar'. The receptionists are not as friendly as you think.. as least you put a smile to every customer or potential customers who came in...Which I think definitely failed in this part... I guess Malaysians are still warmer...Hey, no offence...personal opinion...

For the first week, we learned from snacks, beverages, frozen food and seafood, to organic food, and all other healthy/natural products mostly imported from the US. Wrote a lot of information in the notebook but I need some time to type out everything. I thought my laptop will be useful instead of my notebook but mostly I used it to online in the hotel room. Argghh, I hate writing..especially when I have doctor handwriting...that's why I choose to type..

The office is situated in Amtech building, Sin Ming road..quite big and nice office interior as well as the kinda big warehouse!!!... Love the design...Too bad, the pics are with my friend, need to give her sometime to give me the pics.. We had time to go into the frozen and chilled room.. it's super cold :P about 20 degrees and below....I managed to 'tahan' for about 15 - 20 minutes..

Not to mention, I gained weight because I ate and drank too much good food and juices especially the food samples such as Kettle Chips, Pepperidge Farm cookies, Snyders, Yummy Earth Organic sweets, Lara Bar, soy milk, sparkling juices, sparkling mineral water, etc .. hehe...

The company even owned three branches of their very own restaurants called 'The Food Barn'. Some of the food pictures in my Facebook are the ones we tried.. I would definitely recommend you to order and it's super delicious and affordable for every working people. Is located near the industry/office area...I hope to visit there again... I think I will stop here, got more to update next time, hopefully with pics... time for me to sleep, night!

Prayer request: Please pray that I could get unpaid leaves for the mission trip to Cambodia..as well as the sickness to go away.. you know what I mean... Thanks!
