Pen down my moments I shared with Sophy!
It's good to spend time with a good friend/sis during CNY. My CNY is just another usual CNY. Nothing particular but just managed to catch up with a good friend who cares and loves me. I'm thankful.
1. Checklist done - bringing her to eat at Jung Won Korean restaurant in Ampang which I had been pestering to bring her. She is just too busy. Glad God gave us a chance to go today. No traffic jam ;)
She treat me too, which is a super blessing from Him. Brought her to Korean mart to get some items too.
2. Met two strangers, an elderly couple who hail from Malacca asking for transport and to go back, some sort of cheated story that they were here to look for a job and even show us a police report. Shall we give them money? No! It's good that Sophy was around because she has more experience to handle case like this, I might just give them money. She told me whether I can send them to Pudu Bus station. So, we ended up in Pudu Bus station and plan to buy bus tickets for them. Then, the couple told us that they will get the luggage from Mydin, just right opposite the Bus Station. She gave them time - about 15 minutes. However, we waited longer than that - no sign of them. It's hard to believe whether they are true or false to tell us their story. We prayed for them at the station. We just leave it to God!
3. Next destination, we ended up in One U - watched a movie - Still Alice - Julianne Moore acted as an Alzheimer patient at the early 50. Quite a sad story but this movie creates awareness about how a patient with this disease faces the struggle, and family supported this. I enjoyed the movie, but too bad no ending. Sophy enjoyed it too. It was good, not about comedy/action/romance but educational for people. First time watching sad movie during CNY!
4. Lastly, we had dessert and we talked about guys' response towards 'cute' to them. Especially, Asian, it's not a norm to hear girls telling guys they are cute but acceptable. We talked about true love, I'm glad we had that conversation but definitely it's a hard journey for us to know God better in our lives. Everyone has a personal journey. Indeed, God has been good to me to share my story with her. I will continue to pray for her. Lovely lady who loves me for who I am. It's a journey to know her better. *pray and fast* that's what I am looking for right now... FOCUS, Serena...
To end this - I praise Him for today, it's fruitful and joyful to be able to spend time with her. God bless Sophy! I will continue to pray for your love partner :)
~The End~
