LOVE is a risk?

Is it true that LOVE IS A RISK?

A gal friend once told me that LOVE IS A RISK.

If you love someone, you need to put your gut feeling to love the person.

No matter how difficult it is, you will push all the way through to love someone.

Yes, it’s an action. Is there a condition in loving a person?

You may say ‘no’ but the fact is we do expect to them to respond.

If they don’t, you may feel disappointed.

But that’s what humans' love about.

Well, there is only ONE LOVE that is FREE. Yes, totally free!

In the Bible said, God is Love :) He came to die for our sins. 

It's totally free, and nothing can separate His love for us. 

Isn't it a Good News?

We already know that God loves us unconditionally.

But how about our love to Him? Is it a risk too?

Loving God means loving Him wholly and unconditionally.
If we love someone, how much more we can fully love that person?
We, humans tend to judge people quickly. 
We have all sort of reasons and expectations.
And that kind of love is not everlasting. 
Not even that kind of love described in 1 Cor 13:4-8.
Nothing can compare that to God's love.

EVEN to GOD! We expects Him to love us unconditionally..
Why? In prayer requests, we expect Him to give us what we want.
Without the understanding of Who is this God, we will expect and usually blame Him when things are not right or the answers that do not suit our preferences/wants.

But I can tell you, you miss the whole point of God's love!
It's much more deeper than anything else. 
Especially when you are not careful, and easily blinded by the view of the world.
What is more important? 
It's your relationship with Him. 
You need to invest time in this AWESOME relationship. 
Whereas human beings cannot give you that kind of love.
I learned to build a great relationship with Him. 

What kind of risk you are talking about? 
Yes, loving God is also a risk! 
You gonna let go the things of this world.
It means letting go (sacrifice) everything to follow Him.
Being His follower, it means you obey His commands.
Even dying for Him, standing up for the Truth and be the light.

This is real love! 
Yes, definitely LOVE IS A RISK!

I can tell you that even if I love a person (either family, friends, bf, etc), ever think of sacrificing yourself for him or her? Even your enemy? Think! If you can say you can die for him or her, DO YOU REALLY MEAN IT? AND WILLING TO DO SO?

I will say yes (sound stupid?), I know I'm afraid but I think Only with God's strength I will sacrifice for them. I don't think I can do it myself.
